Personal Background
Chloe Smith has resided in Ohio her entire life under the loving households of her mother, Dottie Lustig, who is married to David Lustig, and her father, Jim Smith, who is married to Susan Smith. Chloe grew up with an older brother, Adam Smith, and two step-brothers, Sam and Caleb Lustig, in the small town of Loveland located in the Cincinnati area. Chloe attended school in the Loveland School District from kindergarten through twelfth grade, where she graduated from Loveland High School in 2012, after having been involved in several different extracurricular activities while consistently earning high honor roll. Chloe takes pride in being from Cincinnati by being a supporter of their professional sports teams - Go Reds and Who Dey!
During her high school years, Chloe was involved with the award-winning show choir, "By Request" where she served as a dance captain for two years and participated in competitions throughout the country, such as Show Choir Nationals on the Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, Tennessee. Chloe was the first student to be on the varsity pom squad for all four years of high school, where she served as head captain her senior year. She was also on the varsity track team as a freshman and sophomore until a knee injury prevented her from continuing in the sport. Aside from sports, she was one of the eight seniors who was selected to be a news anchor on the school's news network, LHSNN (Loveland High School News Network) and was voted by her classmates as "Most Outgoing" of her senior class. Chloe was also actively involved in community service clubs and leadership programs throughout her high school experience. Chloe learned the importance of family, education and community from growing up in such a loving and welcoming town. After graduating in 2012, Chloe was headed towards continuing her education at Miami University.

Chloe has dreamt of becoming a teacher ever since she was a little girl, which is why she decided to follow this dream by studying Middle Childhood Education. Her two concentration areas are in mathematics and language arts. After completing her freshman year in 2013 as an education major, Chloe became inspired to continue developing new knowledge about education and kids. She did this by deciding to work at The Goddard School during the summer as an assistant Pre-Kindergarten teacher. Chloe has always enjoyed being surrounded by kids of all ages and absolutely loves working at this local daycare when she returns home for the summer. In the summer of 2014, Chloe decided to work for a different daycare in order to work with older kids. She worked full-time as a school age day-care teacher at another local daycare where she had a blast teaching and learning with the students and taking multiple field trips each week.
